Our Community

Church and Parish
We have close links with our local church of St John the Baptist in Fladbury. The children are involved in many of the services, such as harvest, advent, Christmas, Easter, Whitsun and there are regular end of term services which are well supported.  Each child leaving the school is presented with a Bible by the Governing Body.  The children are encouraged to play an active part and look forward to joining in with great enthusiasm.

A team of volunteers are involved in an initiative called 'Open the Book' which offers children the chance to hear the major stories of the Bible in an interactive and enjoyable way during assemblies and this has been a great success.

Fladbury is part of the Five Alive Parish which embraces Cropthorne, Charlton, Wyre Piddle and Lower Moor.  Fladbury School has a strong Christian ethos, but we welcome children from all beliefs.  Click here to find out more about the local Parish.
