Year 1/ Year 2

In Avon Class, we cover the Key Stage One curriculum through a mixture of whole-class teaching, small guided groups, and continuous provision. We are a happy and busy bunch, and work hard to foster resilience and curiosity as we learn. Our sequences of learning are designed to cover the curriculum objectives in a way that speaks to the interests and needs of our learners. Key Information

Our PE days for the autumn term are as follows:

Tuesdays - Outdoor PE

Thursdays - Indoor PE

On PE days, children should come to school in their PE kit rather than school uniform. We ask that earrings are removed, or that you provide tape for your child to cover them themselves. 

Phonics books are changed on a Thursday. Please ensure that your child's reading book and reading record are in school every day.

Library books are changed on a Friday.
