The business of the Governing Body is carried out by formal meetings; these take place at least once per term.  

Every governor needs to take full part in meetings, if the governing body is to achieve its objective of acting as an effective team to encourage and support the school.  If a governor is absent from main governor meetings continuously for six months they will be disqualified from the governing body
